Wood with reflective coating, rope, hanging unit
2,5 x 59 x 20 cm, length of rope variable
Mirrored swing seats hang from the ceiling on long ropes, like the swings of an acrobatic number in the ring. Viewers are invited to sit down, swing, getting higher and higher into the air and becoming performers themselves. The transformed perceptions of the person on the swing heighten the unusual reflection of the surroundings on the swing seat. Plays of shadow and light appear on the walls and objects, creating a very unique atmosphere and establishing a dialogue between the people and their surroundings.
